I'm Rahul — a product designer who came up through computer science and never quite left the systems thinking behind. I design for places where the workflow is too important to be vague: healthcare billing, aviation, certification, hiring, and AI tools.
I also build my own products end-to-end — a teacher-hiring platform, a Figma motion plugin, an AI tool — mostly to keep my design instincts honest about what shipping actually costs. Based in Delhi, currently open to senior roles.

Principles
The rules I keep coming back to.
- Simple is usually expensive
- The simplest interface is usually the result of the most complex thinking. I do that work so the user doesn't have to.
- Screens are the receipt
- Design systems, tokens, and component libraries come first. The screens show whether the system is actually working.
- Build something and the truth changes
- Walking through real users beats hypothetical research. I build tools myself so I know what shipping actually costs.
- Accessibility is not a cleanup pass
- Keyboard nav, focus rings, reduced motion, contrast — these are design decisions, not engineering afterthoughts.
